my share...
just got home not too long ago from simpang bedok... didnt know it was so crowded there... even when its raining! but anyway, germany won. which means i won. lets just pray that argentina wins too...was browsing around from blogs to blogs and i realised that there's quite a handful out there who haven exactly been doing very well lately. and also... there's this particular blog that i came across, mentioned something about time. like how often do we spend our time doing something totally useless? or worse still, not even doing anything at all. life's too short to waste, i'm sure we would have knew this by now. it just takes a lil more effort to make that truth, a fact. its true that i've still not gotten over that somebody. but she's not gonna be mine even if i'm spend the next few months weeping over the end of our relationship. neither will i find someone more suitable by sleeping throughout my weekends. like the memories we share, time is something that we cant have it back. i wish you well, as well as myself.
here's a story about a farmer:
this farmer owns a horse which ran away one day. he kept blaming himself for not locking the farmhouse door that night and all the things that he could have done to make it stay. a week later, the horse came back with another female horse. instead of 1 horse now, the farmer has 2 horses. he smiled over this unexpected gain.
while the farmer's son was trying to tame this new female horse, he fell off her back and broke a leg. seeing his son in pain, the farmer broke down in tears. to think that this unexpected gain had actually caused his son to lose a leg, the farmer fell into a depression.
china that time was fighting a fierce battle with the mongolians. all the young men were called up to fight the war den. except for the farmer's son who had a broken leg. many died inevitably.
we often gain some and lose some in life. what we've lost now, doesnt mean an end to where its taking us. might turn out for the better of course. noone said that its gonna be any easier den a story we read... but i'll be waiting for that faithful day to come.
